Confusion

Hi.

I am so confused and it’s been bugging me like crazy! Here, let me tell you all about it.

It was morning and I was just getting up. I was in my bedroom, pulling on my shirt when I heard some whispering. I decided to go check it out. The whispering was coming from the kitchen. I thought that it would be important so I was crouching on my knees and stuck my head out to hear. This is what was said.

(Father talks first)

” They were saying that they are going to colonize on my land!”

” Honey, maybe you should try talking to them.”

” Talk!? Hah. If I tried to talk to them, someone’s head might ‘magically’ fall off. And it won’t be pretty”

” Well, what do you plan to do?”

” My plan is to attack them. Right in front of their noses. They won’t even notice”

” And after you attack them, they will probably come after us.”

” We move.”

” Darling, I still think this is a bad idea…”

And that was it. My father stormed out of the house. I really need to tell Adeline about this, but I am afraid she will tell her father and her father will kill my father and we won’t be friends anymore. Darn. I am confused. I hope things will eventually turn out for the best. Oh guess what! Ata’halne was going to do the laundry and he found Abequa with her friend she met at the festival. He said they were making love and that they will probably get married. I hope so; maybe I will get a niece!

I must dash off now. Bye!

Yours truly, Nayeli.

    Hey.
I hope that don’t happen. That wouldn’t be good because then we wouldn’t be able to be freinds anymore. Well we will just have to wait and see what happens.
    Adeline.

    Hi.
Yes, I must agree with you. I hope that it does not happen. Imagine the possibilites if it does happen. Either one of us will be hurt. Either one of us will move away. And that means both of us won’t be friends anymore. I am happy that you came here, but I am pretty sure my father isn’t. Well I must go. Bye.
    Yours truly, Nayeli.
